Fellowship at CPC

“This is a people church – which of course is what ‘church’ is, but there is a true sense of family here and once you start coming you become a part of the family.”  CPC Member

The size of the Clifton Presbyterian Church allows people to connect quickly, to feel known, welcomed, and of service to the church and to God.  Although there are activities for children, youth and adults, fellowship events are intentionally designed to foster relationships across age divides and generations.  Youth who grow up through the church say they love having so many extra parents, grandparents, and younger brothers and sisters to worship, laugh, and learn with here at CPC.

Congregational Care

Within the congregation, our deacons are leaders in service ministering to those who are sick and in need.  CPC feels like a family that is there for you when you need extra care.   We provide a place of welcome to families who are grieving, those going through treatment for illness, moms on bed rest – anytime someone needs additional support, the deacons coordinate care for them.

“When my wife was so sick, one of my neighbors asked me ‘Who are all these people coming to see her at home and in the nursing home?’”  I said, “Well, church!”  “If it had not been for this church, my family and my neighbors, I don’t think I would have made it.”  CPC Member
